Texture: Before & After

I love spring!!! There is no better time of year in Dallas. Everything is green, the temperature is a perfect 70, people are outside, and the sun is shining... it's drive with the windows down weather - it just doesn't get any better! I am going to soak up all this sun and mild temps. before the 100 degree Texas summer hits.

Last weekend was no exception - a group of local photographers got together down in Deep Ellum to shoot and network. What fun! Due to some last minute schedule changes only three of us were able to make it. Paul (needs a blog!), Jenae, and I went to CFNI together and it was great to reconnect and catch up. We also had the privilege of meeting and photographing Sean and Laura. What a fun couple! Here is a sneakpeek of our shoot last week - a little before and after texture action!!! The first shot was processed in photoshop and the second has some Lindsey lovin'!!!!

Mary: Sneakpeek

Wow - five years ago... that sounds like a long time... It was the winter of 2003 when Beto and I started dating. We met at CFNI and since I wasn't from Dallas (and didn't have a car), I went to church with him and his family on Sundays. Beto was the youth leader at the time, so when I had a night off from American Airlines Center I went to youth group with him on Wednesday nights as well. Back then the group was small and one of the faithful few was none other than Mary Shay! Seems like such a long time ago that Beto was teaching Mary and her BFF Jenn how to play guitar....
All this time later Mary has graduated from HS, CFNI + 3rd year, and is now about to graduate with her bachelors degree from DBU!!! Five years and lots of schooling later - here is a sneakpeek at our night with Mary!!

Textures: Part 2

You can find the original here.

I LOVE TEXTURES!!! They make me want to buy huge canvases! I love the rustic feel this texture gives. Whitney rocked out this photo shoot and she is smokin' hott in this photo!!!
