The Dess Family

Sunday afternoon Beto and I met up with Grant, Chelle, and their, cute-as-a-button, daughter, Emory. It was super hot outside, but Emory was as sweet and smiley as can be... especially with a little extra help from the prop guy, Beto! Emory was so cute with her glow worm. Beto would bring it up close to her, pull it away, and Emory would give the biggest smiles. She is so cute!!! Thanks Grant and Chelle for a fun afternoon at the park!

I love these shots of Daddy & daughter!

So sweet!

What a good lookin' family.

Love Emmy's smile - thanks glow worm!

Chelle - are you kidding me... love this one!

Proud parents - there is so much joy in this family!

Look at those eyes!!!

Sam & Vero Tied the Knot

Sam and Veronica met less than two years ago - neither looking for love... but isn't love funny that way? The Lord caused their paths to cross and in doing so awakened an unexpected but ever so beautiful romance. This weekend was a perfect celebration of the love the Lord put in their hearts for one another. A rock star and his beautiful bride promised forever in the company of close friends and family. What a joy to take part in - to capture their love!

Sam and Vero - we are so so so happy for you! Thank you for allowing us to share in your joy! We know that the Lord has brought you together, and we pray that he will shower you with the richest of blessing. We love you!

The beautiful bride!

Sister and Matron of Honor helping with the finishing touches.

At last!

These two couldn't keep from smiling all day!

The wedding was held at the Claremont Women's Club,
a historic house with a private garden. BEAUTIFUL!

Mr. & Mrs. Moreno

I love the light in these two pictures!

Gotta love a little sun flare!

The beautiful bride and her groom - congratulations!

Sam & Vero e-session

Where do I begin? Sam - we love you! Sam and Beto are cousins - he was the best man in our wedding... and he is just about the coolest cousin ever! Sam lives in LA and met a beautiful girl named Veronica. Sam and Vero fell in love, and we flew to LA to celebrate their wedding! What a fun week! It started off with weather in the low 60s and ended up over 100 on their wedding day. These photos were taken mid-week during Vero's lunch hour. Thanks for skipping lunch to hang out, Vero! We loved being able to spend lots of time with you this past week. Your love for one another is very evident. Thanks for letting us be a part of this exciting time in your lives!!!

On Wednesday Beto's cousin Ana took us to our favorite bakery in Glendale, Porto's! We love going to Porto's every time we visit family here in LA... the Tres Leches is to die for! I have been craving it since we bought our plane tickets in March. :) We decided to go for lunch and take plenty home to last us the weekend. On the way back home Ana took us to old town Pasadena. We walked around the cute downtown area and she borrowed my camera and snagged some super-cute shots of us. Thanks Ana!!! We had such a fun day!

Pismo Beach, CA

On Saturday Beto and I drove up to Pismo Beach to meet up with Tine and Drew! Such a fun day!!! Here are a couple of photos - more to come later... I love vacation!

Dennis+Ivy Engaged!

Wow - lots going on around here! Where to begin... about two weeks ago my computer crashed.... ahhhh, I know!!! It was working just fine the night before... and the next morning - gone, everything gone! My only relief is the fact I had backed up one week prior... however, I still lost two sessions (trust me, I've learned my lesson), saved emails, downloaded fonts, certain programs... you never realize how much you rely on a machine until it is gone. So off to the Apple Store we went. We upgraded our Macs to Leopard and bought a time capsule so hopefully (cross your fingers) nothing will be lost again! My laptop is back up and running - new hard drive + upgraded memory... it's like brand new!

The only good thing about losing a session is getting to hang out with Dennis and Ivy again. These two are great!!! Dennis and Ivy are from Houston, but are currently attending school in Denton at UNT. They drove down to Dallas for both of our sessions. You can really feel the love between them in these photos. There were so many good ones it was hard to decide what to blog.

Dennis & Ivy - thanks for driving to Dallas twice. Beto and I really enjoyed getting to know you - we had a blast! We hope you enjoy this sneakpeek!

Love these - Dennis was posing the whole time... haha!
