More of Steph & Ben

I love working on pictures and trying new things. What do you think of this antiqued/desaturated look?

Steph & Ben

I took these pictures on Sunday before heading to another Rangers game. For those of you who don't know, Steph and I were roommates our very first semester at CFNI. We were 18 then, and the best of friends. It is such a joy to get to know Ben! They are a great pair!

My Dad has an eye for details! He is an amazing photographer, and I guarantee that what most of you do not see in these photos, he will. I remember going to the nature center, early on Saturday morning(s) as a little girl with my Dad. He would search for dew coverd spider webs and flowers to photograph. He probably did imagine that I would take interest in his hobby, let alone LOVE IT! It is all thanks to Dad! Thanks for being patient, Dad. Thanks for teaching me. Thanks for taking me along. I love you! Maybe someday I will be as good as you!

Take me out to the ball game...

Good old American summer fun! Who doesn't love a ball game? I must admit that after the hotdog and the first pitch it feels like an eternity til the bottom of the 9th, but once a year... it's worth it!!! We went to the Rangers/Cubs game at the Ballpark on Tuesday night. We were hoping to see Sosa's 600th homerun, no such luck. It was a fun night anyway!

Family Photo Session

I took these pictures last weekend. It was a bit too bright outside, but mom and dad were ready to take their first date since baby was born. Beto and I go to babysit for the first time!!!

This man loves soccer!

I've never been much of a fan, but he is more than enough for the both of us!

Riding along in my automobile...

...my baby beside me at the wheel! and he's always singing... gotta love that face!

Saturday in my yard.

I think these are some sort of hibiscus... if anyone knows, please share! For now, whatever they are, they're beautiful!

Cutie Pie!

For those of you who do not already know, this is my nephew Vaughn! I took a few pictures of him with his Mommy, Ceci, the other day and wanted to share how cute they are. He is growing like crazy... only 7 weeks old!

Simply Lovely.

I love candles. These three are the current centerpiece on my kitchen table. I was inspired by a friend's blog this Saturday... thought I would share!

my PINK roses!

Pink is one of my favorite colors! I was so excited to find a 5ft pink rose bush on the side of my house. All it needs is a little TLC and I should have happy, healthy, beautifully blooming roses!
