I think these are some sort of hibiscus... if anyone knows, please share! For now, whatever they are, they're beautiful!

You better call your Gr. B., she'll know :) They look like the pink flower I had by the mail box. It croaked. You know me, I can't grow a plastic plant and I don't know my flowers. (I only know roses that come from the florist with a card from you dad.)

Linds, I looked up pictures on google and I think Kristi is right. There is a photo that looks very much like yours. I'm thinking it is rose of sharon. Cool! Thanks Kristi!
I looked it up at an online nursery and we are both right. It is a variety of hibiscus known as rose of sharon. Thanks Kristi! Now I will know how to take care of it. I have noticed some in the neighborhood that are huge and 6ft tall. I don't think I want a bush that big in the front of my house... hehe.

Beautiful. I think that is a hibiscus that you've photographed, by the way. I do know they come in different colors.
if its a tree-like or shrub like its roses of sharon or something like that. at least thats what i was told. :o)
